I see they've released a new version that supports Android 5.1, but I haven't tried it yet. I use an older version (v2.9.3) that uses Android 4.2.2, mostly because it just works for me. Do not log in Play store with a gmail account, since that will leave a huge footprint. apk file and installing it manually (just double click the apk file, or use the apk icon on the side). Oh, and since you'll have to install Instagram app, I suggest downloading an offline.

Dunno if IG checks for it, but I felt like I don't want to take that risk, so I just create a separate instance from scratch for every single new account. But I've checked that, though you can change the IDs manually, if you clone a device an ID called 'GSF ID' stays the same. That way account creation should go faster, since you don't have to install apps and wait for it to setup Android every single time. What I've been suggested to do, is to create and customize one instance, and clone that one for every single IG account I create. You can change that (and the other IDs as well) if you click this gear button on the side, go to GPS tab, chose Baidu (maybe Google will work for you, it bugs for me when I zoom out) and just move the pin somewhere else, maybe to another town or City, but try not to do it in the middle of the ocean

Every new instance you create will have unique IDs, except for Geo location. If you decide to try Memu, you basically create a new instance with the Multi-Memu tool that comes with Memu when you install it. I think you can download a newer version of BlueStacks from their official page, and use BS tweaker on it, maybe all the functionalities, including Geo, will be there.
